How to make the most of online communion

How to make the most of online communion

by David Taylor on April 03, 2020

To celebrate Palm Sunday, Shandon will be observing Communion during all of our online church services!  We want you to know in advance so you can be prepared. In addition to deciding on which service you will join this Sunday, prepare with the following lists of suggestions:

Suggestions for preparing the elements in your home
Symbols of Jesus’ body: Bread, Pitas, Crackers, Cereal, Tortillas
Symbols of Jesus’ blood: Grape Juice, Other Juices, Water, Wine

Suggestions for preparing yourself and family for communion
For you:  Pray, confess sin, fast, read Scripture, worship
For your family:  share the gospel, discuss the meaning of the crucifixion

Shandon family, we are one body currently scattered.  You may feel alone, but you are not alone.

26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. 1 Cor 11:26

We're in this together! Stay connected with our online resources!
