Supporting Children & Teens with Special Needs

Celebrating Night to Shine
Night to Shine 2019 was an incredible night celebrating some truly incredible people! Shandon was one of 655 churches worldwide to host an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. We welcomed 182 guests and their parents and caregivers to Shandon, with a total of 385 volunteers. Our Kings and Queens ranged in age from 14 to 77 and traveled from Camden, Lugoff, Orangeburg, Denmark, Kingstree, Easley and Greenville to attend this special event.
On the global scale, we're incredibly proud to have played a part in bringing Night to Shine to the Middle East for the first time! A small Shandon team was in Lebanon last week to assist our friends at the Lebanese Society for Educational and Social Development in hosting 81 guests for their first Night to Shine experience. What an incredible honor to see God at work here at home and around the world!

Volunteer with Mosaic or Young Life
If you'd like to support children and teens with special needs, consider volunteering with Shandon's Mosaic ministry or Young Life. The Mosaic class meets at 9 and 10:30 every Sunday, and Young Life Capernaum (a Young Life club for teens with special needs) meets at Shandon every first and third Thursday at 6 p.m. To connect with leaders for either of these ministries, email .
Tomorrow | Young Life Interview
Don't miss Bible Study tomorrow at 5:55 p.m. for an interview with Young Life leaders. You'll hear how God is using this program to reach local teens with the Gospel, including those with special needs.
