Care and Support

We offer many different options for counseling, grief support, hospital visitation, and much more. We would love the opportunity to come beside you and help in any way during difficult seasons.

Our counselors are members of Shandon and offer their services to church members for a reasonable fee. To schedule an appointment, contact Susan Butler at   or phone (803) 782-1300 ext 121. We are also glad to provide recommendations and referrals to local Christian counseling programs.

Divorce Care is a safe place where caring people come alongside you to help you heal from the pain of separation or divorce and give you hope. Sessions will be in-person only and will run now through December 6 on Wednesday Nights, from 6PM-8PM in room B106.

weddings/funerals/hospital visits

We are honored to provide these services for our members. We also list bereavement announcements in our weekly email. To inquire about weddings or to notify Shandon of death or hospitalization, contact Susan Butler at   or call (803) 782-1300 ext. 121.

homebound ministry

The Homebound Ministry acts as a bridge between Shandon and our members who are physically unable to attend church activities.  Ministering to homebound church members is a special opportunity to connect with someone who has little contact with the outside world through home visits, phone calls and delivering flowers. To learn more about serving with the Homebound Ministry, contact Susan Butler at   or (803) 782-1300 ext. 121.

Caregivers support
Are you a Caregiver? Please join us for a monthly meeting of encouragement and support. We meet the third Wednesday of every month in C126 from 6-7:15PM. This group is designed to support and encourage caregivers through fellowship, prayer, and also bringing in speakers to discuss various topics related to this area.
